Qoola & Frappe Bliss

Qoola & Frappe Bliss

Vancouver has been hit by a froyo and icy craze as of late. With a Menchie's (hailing from the states) opening at the beginning of the summer, it has been raking in customers due to its convenient location.  Today's focus will be on a local franchise chain, Qoola as well as Frappé Bliss.     First off, Qoola.  It's a Vancouver frozen yogurt company that targets the health conscious consumer, with its emphasis on its yogurt choked full o..

Trity Cafe - Richmond

Since we've been eating in Richmond quite a bit, I realized that I've been visiting countless Taiwanese restaurants that I haven't been to in years. Not to mention, I actually rarely have a full meal at bubble tea cafes -- except for my beloved Best Bubble, which has reportedly gone out of business. On this occasion, being too lazy to think, I agreed to whatever Rick could think of and went Tri-Ty Cafe 翠緹複合餐飲. I recall my last visit being nearly three years ago actually.   ..

Bubble Queen - Canada

Hello again from Canada! Recently the weather here has changed drastically and it was suddenly 20-something degrees! Of course, what better way to cool off than with a bubble tea slush? Last time, I introduced to you more traditional "tea varieties" of bubble tea at What8ver Cafe and Sweet Bubble, but the slushes are definitely the most popular type at most stores in the summer. Today, I'll bring you to Bubble Queen, one of the most well-known bubble tea places in Richmond.  Th..

Bubbles Cafe

Bubbles Café Review, Calgary NW, Alberta Hey there BBT lovers! We’re still on our boba sniffing trail in Calgary! The latest review is on Bubbles Café located in NW Calgary. Bubbles Café is situated on a small shopping precinct which is convenient as it has a parking lot just outside. There are also other foodie places on the precinct including a ‘Banh Mi’ joint (that’s Vietnamese Sub for those of you who haven’t had the pleasure of having one!). Perfect for swinging by and picki..

TenRen Tea Time, Canada

Welcome back to another review from across the pond Boba-Lovers! The weather in Calgary is great – 26˚C out and a refreshing bubble tea sounds right up our street! This time we are visiting one of the more well-known bubble tea chains – TenRen’s! TenRen’s is a specialty tea shop, selling all varieties of tea from tea bags to loose tea leaves like Monkey Pick Tea and Dragon Well Tea.  Any tea based paraphernalia (tea strainers, tea sets, tea-pots – you get the picture!) can ..

Sweet Bubble Review - Richmond, BC

Hello again! Janice here. Today I want to share a flavour of bubble tea that is fairly new to the bubble tea scene. First, a quick intro about the café in this post: Sweet Bubble is located right in the heart of Richmond, but it’s never that busy because parking is not that convenient.  (Most people drive in Richmond.)  Thus, I usually come here to study… which is why I never wanted to post it on my own food blog! (A bit selfish on my part, but I don’t really want a huge in..

What8ver Cafe - Richmond, BC, Canada

Hi! Janice here from across the pond here in Vancouver.  I'll be contributing to this blog from now on as Kevin's interests have changed.  While his time was short, he enjoyed it and had a fun experience.  And since I basically live off of bubble tea, he thought I would be a good choice to write for Bubblelicious.  Being raised in Richmond -- which has the highest concentration of Asians in North America -- there has never been a need to leave for Vancouver to ha..

Corner 23 - Vancouver, Canada

Hi everyone, Kevin from Vancouver here again! It's been a busy summer and bubbletea was unfortunately not that high on my list of things to drink ;)! Now with a return to school and cold days and no time nor money for alco- long story short, I'm back.  Corner 23 is about as Taiwanese a restaurant as they come in Vancouver. They even have this awesome famous pork hock called Wan Luan, but sorry, no pictures of it as I had already ate dinner before dropping by Corner 23 for some drinks..
